Payment Options

My online shop is run with Paypal, which is a fast and secure way to make payments. If you do not have Paypal, or wish to pay by a different method I also accept cheques, however work on your order will not commence until the cheque has cleared.

 

P&P

I post all orders first class, Royal Mail. When possible, I use recycled materials.

Please be aware that this is a one woman business, and I buy all materials, make up and post all items, and I often have many orders at once. If your order is urgent, please email me before ordering, and I will let you know when I will be able to make and post by. The postage will cost more if you want your item Special or Sameday Delivery.

For delivery outside of the UK please email me for a quote on postage.

 

Garment Care

Dresses

When items are posted I always include a card with care instructions, please keep hold of this because my dresses do not have washing labels inside them.

For most dresses, I recommend washing at 30 degrees, and hang to dry.

Tulle can be delicate, so I recommend hand washing and hang to dry.

The vintage material I use is usually good quality fabric, in order to keep it this way, and to extend its life, hand wash.

If you are ever in any doubt, please email me with details of your garment. 

Hats

As with all felt hats, these should not be worn in the rain, or ever get wet. This will make them loose their shape. Hats and fascinators should be kept in a safe place, where they will not get crushed or distorted, if heavy items are placed on top of them, they could permanently loose their shape. Look after your hats!

To help refresh the shape of your felt hat, you can use fabric stiffener lightly sprayed or painted on the inside.

 

Returns

Because all orders are made to order, it is very important that you check your measurements against my size chart to avoid disappointment.

I hope that you are happy with your purchase from me, however, if you are not satisfied, please email me within 7 days of receipt of your item. Return the unworn item(s) within 20 days of receipt, and include your name and email address in the parcel. I regret that I cannot cover the delivery costs of unwanted items. Please note, that when you are returning an item to me, you are responsible for the item until it reaches me, I recommend that you obtain proof of postage. Once I have received your unworn item, I will refund via the original method of payment, or exchange according to your instruction.

Please be careful when trying on your new purchase, I will not refund any item that has been worn, or has deodorent/make-up/perfume damage. Items that appear to have been worn or damaged I will be unable to resell and they are not eligible for refund or exchange.

I hand make all items that I sell, and to a high standard, but mistakes can sometimes happen. If your item is faulty or not what you ordered,  please email me at louise_omahony@hotmail.com with a description of the problem and I will contact you with details of how to proceed with the return.

Special Orders & Vintage Fabrics

I regret that I am unable to offer refunds on items made in a fabric of your choice, or a special design, because they are not available on my website, and I will be unable to resell them. Because there is only a limited amount of dresses I can make out of the vintage fabric I cannot offer refunds on these either. If you request a dress to be made in a fabric of your choice, I will send out a sample of the fabric you want before making it up, it is up to you to decide if it is right for you. Please check your measurements against my size chart before ordering. If there is a problem with your order, please email me at louise_omahony@hotmail.com, with details of the problem and I will see if there is anything I can do.

Items that are returned to me after 20 days of receipt or fall out of my return policy will not be eligible for a refund.
